Friendship Bracelets: The Perfect Personalized Present For Your Friend!

Are you looking for something to give your best friend for their birthday or Christmas? Or are you looking for something to give your friend to show how much you appreciate them? One great present you can give them is something both simple and meaningful: a friendship bracelet!

A friendship bracelet is made to represent the bond that you have with your friend. And as the story goes, when your friend ties the bracelet onto your wrist, make a wish! Make sure you leave the bracelet on your wrist: don’t take it off! See how long it stays on. Show off the hard work your friend put into that bracelet. It’s a symbol of your friendship. After a couple days, weeks, or even months, your bracelet may come undone on its own. Once it falls off, your wish will come true all thanks to the power of friendship you have with that special someone.

The following link will bring you to a great website with three easy step-by-step walkthroughs on how to make some beautiful bracelets for you and your friend!

One Of the Most Overlooked Activities That Are Great For Get Togethers and Sleepovers With Friends: Board Games!

You’re hosting a get together with all of your friends! Though something is bringing down the spirit. You finally realize what it is: is everyone really together? Or are you just standing near each other, but mentally off in different worlds? Put down those cell phones, TV remotes, and video game controllers: it’s time to have some old-fashioned fun with board games! The following board games are great for bringing you all together!

  1. The Game of Life: Yes, it’s pretty well-known. And yes, it is pretty long. However, did you ever think of all the fun you could have playing it? All the laughs you could share with your choices during the game and the action card challenges! The friendly competition you could have.

  2. Forbidden Island: It’s one of my favorite games to play with my family! For this game, you have to work together as one team to escape the island. It’s a great game for teamwork, suspense, and strategy.

  3. Tenzi: The fast dice-rolling game is sure to be an energy booster! Be the first person to roll all of the same number. Sounds simple, right? Not really. Especially when time and speed all play a role in your game. The race to win is sure to be a fun competition full of laughter!

  4. Pictionary: A cat! A bear! The moon! A circle with two other circles? Pictionary is great for everyone, even if you’re not an artist. And it’s perfect for some hilarious memories too! Especially when you find out that what you thought was a cat was actually a bicycle …

  5. Charades, Karaoke, and Other Classics: Why not just host and make your own fun board game or activity? Write different characters on paper, put them in a hat, and pull them out for a game of charades! Or pull out your phone and look up some fun karaoke tracks! Host a concert with you friends with definite laughs! In addition, you can hold a simple, classic card game or put together a jigsaw puzzle.

The different board games you could play are endless! Though they all have one thing in common: bringing people together.

Friendships During The Pandemic

During this pandemic, you may feel as if you’re losing contact with friends, or missing out on making new ones. The following ideas can help your friendships during these uncertain times.

  1. Join a virtual club or activity. Look into different clubs. You may meet people through a virtual book club, virtual activities, or other online events.

  2. Stay in contact with old friends. Just because you can’t see your friends face to face doesn’t mean you still can’t talk and hang out! Email them, message them, call them, video chat them. There are so many different ways to stay in contact with old and recent friends thanks to the world of technology we have today.

  3. Host virtual get togethers. There are numerous ways to host virtual get togethers for you and your friends.: Zoom birthday parties, virtual board game night, or even a watch party online. Be creative with the activities you can do together virtually. Think of all the endless options you have available to you!

  4. Don’t be afraid to talk about things. If you are feeling concerned that your friends are fading during these times, talk to them. Let them know how you feel. A good friend will hear you out, and be there for you when you’re feeling down.
